These terms and conditions govern all supply of goods and services ("products") by Altered Freedom Limited ("we," "us") to you, the purchaser of goods and services from us, including your use of the website at www.alteredfreedom.co.nz, www.alteredfreedom.co.au, www.alteredfreedom.com ("the website"). They are effective from 12 April 2025 and will replace all earlier Altered Freedom Limited terms of trade and any conditions contained in any document used by you and purporting to have contractual effect.
We reserve the right to change these terms of trade by notice to you. Notice may be given by posting the revised terms and conditions on our website.
To make a purchase from our online shop you must be 18 years of age or over.
Purchases from our online shop may only be made by persons who are acquiring goods or services for their own use or consumption, and you must not acquire goods from us via the website for resupply (whether in trade or otherwise).
If you are purchasing on behalf of another entity such as a company, you warrant you have the authorization to agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of the entity.

"You" refers to the purchaser of goods or services from us, including consumers and businesses.
"Products" refers to the goods and services offered by Altered Freedom Limited.
"Website" refers to the online platforms where Altered Freedom Limited offers products and services, including www.alteredfreedom.co.nz, www.alteredfreedom.co.au, and www.alteredfreedom.com.
3. Availability and Supply
All orders are subject to the availability of those products or services. If for any reason a Product is not available, we will endeavour to notify the non-availability on our online shop.
4. Pricing
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of any Goods and Services Tax ("GST") unless stated to be otherwise but are exclusive of delivery charges. All prices are correct when published. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.
An invoice will be emailed to you at the email address you supply when you place your order. You are responsible for ensuring that your contact details are correct.

6. Shipping and Delivery Policy
Delivery and Delivery Charges Policy
Prices for goods and services stated on our website are exclusive of any applicable delivery charges.
Our primary focus is on delivering to countries within the Oceania region. For customers outside of Oceania, please contact us directly, and we will provide the shipping cost. Delivery fees are outlined on our website, and the total shipping cost will be displayed in the order summary within your shopping basket. Shipping charges are calculated based on the delivery address entered at checkout. The final shipping cost will be shown for your confirmation before completing your purchase. Please note that shipping fees may vary depending on the size, weight, and delivery location of the products.
Delivery Time
Once your order is processed, you will receive an email confirmation, including tracking information. After placing an order, we will process and ship it within three (3) business days. The expected delivery time will vary depending on the shipping method selected during checkout and the destination address. Typically, standard domestic shipping takes three to five business days.
International Shipping
For international orders, shipping times may vary, and additional customs fees, duties, or taxes may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping Options
We offer various shipping options, including standard and expedited delivery. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location and the shipping method you select.
Free Shipping

Shipping and Delivery Days
Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email or text message, which can be used to track your order. If you experience any issues or delays, please contact our customer support team for assistance.
Delivery Issues
Please ensure that your shipping address is correct when placing your order. We are not responsible for any delays, loss, or additional charges incurred due to incorrect address details.
If your package is missing or lost in transit, please contact us immediately. We will work with the carrier to investigate the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within three (3) business days of receipt with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund as per our return and warranty policies.
Delivery Attempts
Delivery will be attempted once by the carrier. If no one is available to receive the parcel, a card will be left with instructions for arranging redelivery or collection. It is the customer's responsibility to follow the instructions provided.
If the parcel remains unclaimed or if the recipient does not respond to delivery attempts, the item will be held for a period before being returned to the sender, in accordance with standard courier policy.
Should an item be returned to us due to non-collection or incorrect address details provided by the customer, any costs associated with reshipping will be the responsibility of the customer.
7. Warranty Policy
At Altered Freedom, we are committed to providing high-quality products that stand the test of time. Our warranty is designed to give you peace of mind with every purchase.
What Is Covered
We offer a warranty on all Altered Freedom products against defects in materials and workmanship. If your product fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will provide a remedy as outlined below.
What You Can Expect
Major Faults
If your product fails due to a major fault, we will offer you a full refund or a replacement, based on your preference.
Minor Faults
If the fault is minor, we will either repair the product or replace it. If repairing the item is not practical, we will provide you with a replacement or a refund at our discretion.
Change of Mind
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind, you may return the product within 14 days of purchase for a store credit or exchange, provided it is in its original, unused condition with all packaging intact.
Please note:
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
You will be responsible for the return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
We recommend using a tracked service for your return to ensure safe delivery back to us.

How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team with proof of purchase and a description of the fault. We may require you to return the product for assessment. You can reach us via sales@alteredfreedom.co.nz or visit one of our retail locations.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or neglect.
- Normal wear and tear from regular use.
- Products that have been altered or modified.
This warranty is in addition to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Law (or applicable consumer protection laws in your region). You are entitled to remedies if a product has a major fault, as outlined by your statutory consumer rights.
Limitations
To the extent permitted by law, this warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy, and any implied warranties or conditions are excluded from this policy.
8. Returns Policy
Our returns policy is created to comply with New Zealand consumer protection laws and ensure a fair and transparent process for our customers.

9. Limitation of Liability
Where you acquire or hold yourself out as acquiring goods or services from us for the purposes of a business, the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 will not apply. The conditions, warranties, and guarantees set out in the Sale of Goods Act 1908 or otherwise implied by statute or common law will not apply and are excluded from these terms of trade.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Unless we otherwise agree in writing, this agreement contains all the terms of our relationship and continues to apply no matter where you are located at the time any goods or services are provided to you by us and irrespective of the location where you reside.
Use of our website, supply of products or services by us to you, and any other matter arising from these Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of New Zealand. The Courts of New Zealand shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all claims or disputes arising in relation to, out of, or in connection with these terms of trade, the use of the website, or the supply of any services, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
11. Privacy Policy and Confidentiality
Unless you opt to receive messages from us, we will not contact you again in future. If you have opted to receive ongoing communications and at a later date you no longer wish to receive these communications, you will be able to opt out by following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of emails sent to you.
We may disclose your personal information as required by law.
Where you have provided information to us on a confidential basis, we will hold that information in confidence, except as required by law.
We take data protection seriously. Our website employs industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information during transactions. However, we cannot guarantee that our website is 100% secure and will not be held responsible for breaches outside of our control.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time by notice, which may be in the form of a notice posted on our website at www.alteredfreedom.co.nz.
If we fail to enforce any terms or to exercise our rights under these terms and conditions at any time, we have not waived those rights.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
